Officer Ron Winters

Officer Winters had been with the Lauderdale By The Sea Police Department since December 31, 1997. Officer Winters was recovering from surgery and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 12, 1998
Officer Winters is survived by his wife Deborah and a son and a daughter living in New York.
Before coming to Lauderdale By The Sea PD, Officer Winters worked for the Broward County Sheriff's Office and for the New York State Troopers located in Albany, New York.
Officer Winters was known as "The Piano Man" in New York and was a musician and keyboardist... he was also an avid "Street Rod" enthusiast.
Our deepest, heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Officer Winter's.
He will be missed.
